Weekly Writing Challenge Day 3:
Today an off-day
A retailers weekend
Except when most get two days together
Often we have two days apart
Which is all very well when you have nothing to do
but it doesn’t bode well for job lists from hell:
The gym? Nope.
Ring this person and that?
Don’t be daft.
New blog post?
Check. Even I managed that!
The key, I would guess
Is to master procrastination,
As in to show some control,
And resist the temptation
To do nothing at all.
I’ll try it someday.
Honest Injun: I will.
Next time though…
Not today.
